AI Managers

You leave with three documents your CTO can act on: a map of where each of your teams is with AI, the roles and tooling for an AI-native way of working, and a two-quarter rollout plan that covers the business teams too.

  • We move you to practice. No theory talks.
  • We make AI work for you, and save you time.

Using AI yourself is level 1. Getting three teams, plus sales and ops, to work this way without a year of pilots is a different job. This cohort is that job, in six Tuesday mornings.

An engineering leader presenting a team rollout plan to a group of managers

Not for

  • Managers who have not used these tools themselves yet. Start with AI Augmented; this cohort assumes you can build a skill.
  • CTOs looking for a company-wide AI strategy deck. This is operational, team by team.
  • Anyone expecting a tool comparison. Session 4 covers tooling as distribution, which tools reach which people, and that is all the tool talk there is.

Who it is for

  • Engineering managers and heads of engineering responsible for AI adoption across more than one team, who have licences, a few enthusiasts, and no plan.
  • Leaders who get asked by product, sales, marketing or operations “how should we use this” and have nothing to hand them.
  • Managers who did AI Augmented, or who already run their own agents, and now need it to work for people who don’t.

The program

6 sessions × 3 h, online, Tuesdays.

  1. Where your teams are, honestly.

You map each team’s real adoption state, the one you would show the team, not the board. You leave with the per-team map and the two teams you start with.

  2. The AI-native way of working.

Planning, estimation, review, testing and deploy, redrawn for work that agents do in parallel. You leave knowing which step changes first on your teams and why. The one-page review policy itself is the take-home of The AI-Native Engineering Manager; here you learn where it sits.

  3. Roles, job descriptions, organisation.

What changes in the job of an engineer, a tech lead and a manager when most of the throughput is agentic. You leave with the role definitions written for your org.

  4. Tooling, skills, distribution.

Which tools are sanctioned, what runs in a sandbox, who pays, and how a skill built by one person becomes something the whole org runs. You leave with the tooling map and the library structure.

  5. AI for the business teams.

The step-by-step manual for sales, marketing, product and operations: find the repeatable work, build the first workflow with them, hand it over, measure. You draft the manual and pick the team; you run the first step with them before session 6.

  6. The rollout plan.

Two quarters, sequenced, with owners and one number per team, and what happened when you ran the manual. You leave with the plan you present to your CTO the following week.

Close-up of engineering leaders working together at a session

From where you are, to where you walk out.

Before

Two engineers use agents brilliantly, eight don’t, and you find out from the review queue.

After

A per-team adoption map, so you can see who is moving and who is stuck before it costs a sprint.

Before

Each team picked its own tools and few can say what the company pays for.

After

One tooling map: what is sanctioned, what is a sandbox, who owns the budget.

Before

Skills and prompts live in personal folders.

After

A shared library the whole org runs from, with an owner.

Before

Sales asks for “AI for our proposals”, you say “let me think”, and nothing happens.

After

You hand them a five-step manual, run the first step with them between sessions, and report back.

Before

Your plan is a slide with the word “AI-first” on it.

After

Your plan is a sequenced rollout for the next two quarters, with the first change dated.

What you walk out able to do.

  • Map each team’s real AI adoption state and pick the two teams you start with.
  • Define the roles: what an AI-native engineer, tech lead and manager are responsible for, in a job description you can use next week.
  • Set up tooling distribution: sanctioned tools, sandbox rules, budget ownership, and how a new skill gets from one person to the whole org.
  • Run the step-by-step manual with a non-tech team (sales, marketing, product, ops) and leave them with one workflow that runs.
  • Sequence the rollout over two quarters and name the number that shows it is working.

What nobody else offers

The parts a competitor cannot copy in a quarter.

01

Both sides of the company.

Engineering and the business teams, in one program. Most AI courses pick one.

02

Three documents, not a mindset.

An adoption map, roles plus a tooling map, and a rollout plan. Things you can hand to someone.

03

Run by someone who does this for a living.

Vojta Tůma works on AI adoption and data strategy at Keboola, in Czech companies, with Czech budgets.

04

Twelve rollouts to compare.

We ask what you run before session 1. The room is managers with the same problem; a vendor who slips in gets a refund.

“The licences are paid. The plan is a slide. Six mornings later it is a rollout.”

Proof, honestly labeled

What we can stand behind today.

  • Run inside the Engineering Leaders community, 3,300+ members across Prague, Brno, Bratislava and Krakow.
  • Companies that trained their managers with us: Rohlík, Košík, Mews, Kiwi.com, Česká spořitelna, Trezor, and Apify.
  • 9.3/10 average from 21 participant reviews across the Academy programs this one grew out of.

This is the first run of AI Managers. The scores and logos above come from the Academy programs it grew out of, not from this cohort. First-cohort reviews replace this section when they land.

Questions

The things buyers actually ask.

Should I take AI Augmented first?

Only if you have not built a skill or run an agent yourself yet. If you have, start here.

Is this only for tech teams?

No. Session 5 is the manual for sales, marketing, product and operations, and you run its first step with one of those teams before session 6.

How many teams should I be responsible for?

Two or more. With one team, AI Augmented gets you most of the way.

I cannot make one of the Tuesdays.

Sessions are recorded for the cohort; watch it before the next one and bring your questions.

What if fewer than six people sign up?

We tell you on 9 October and refund the seat in full.

Can the seat go on a company invoice?

Yes. Enter the company details at checkout; Stripe issues the invoice.
