What one senior hire costs
A recruiter charges €15 to €25K per senior hire, often as a share of the yearly salary. ELC charges one flat fee, whatever the salary.

How an intro works
- You send Marian the role: the team, the level, the salary band.
- Marian picks people from the community who fit it. 182 leaders told him they are open to a next step, 62 of them actively looking.
- He asks each of them first. Only the ones who say yes reach you.
- You meet over coffee or a call. For €750, Marian comes to the coffee with the candidate.
- You hire. The €12,000 fee is due when the person starts.

How much does hiring in Czech Republic through ELC cost?
Hiring through ELC costs one flat €12,000 per hire, paid when the person starts. On top, you pick one of four options: an Intro sprint at €2,500 per role, a Hiring Meetup at €8,000, Talent reach at €14,000 a year, or a talent dinner at €4,000. A recruiter usually charges €15 to €25K per senior hire.
Is the fee per hire charged on every package?
Every hire made through ELC costs €12,000, whichever of the four options you start with. You pay it when the person starts, not at the intro and not at the offer, so a search that ends without a hire costs only the option you picked. Full terms are on the terms page.
Who will I meet?
Engineering leaders from the ELC community: staff engineers, architects, engineering managers, directors, VPs and CTOs. 182 of them told Marian they are open to a next step, 62 of them actively looking. ELC meets in Prague, Brno, Bratislava and Kraków.
Is ELC a recruitment agency?
ELC is a community of engineering leaders, and recruiters and agencies cannot buy a partnership. Marian introduces people only when both sides say yes first, so nobody in the community gets a cold message from you because you paid.
What happened to Marian's List?
