An ELC meetup venue set up and waiting for the doors to open

ELC Community Launch

A community under your name. Full rooms from the first night.

For a company opening or growing an engineering hub in Czechia, Slovakia or Poland. ELC audits the city, runs the first three meetups under your brand, seeds its own members into them and hands your team the playbook.

Launch Audit €3,900. Community Launch €25,900. Launch + Run €46,900. All ex VAT.

Who it is for

A VP or Director of Engineering, or a Head of Employer Brand, with a hub headcount plan and no local audience yet. The usual signal: a new office, a series of meetups you tried that stalled after the second one, or an engineering brand that recruiters in the city cannot place.

An agency sells you the launch sprint and brings no audience. Building it in-house means a community manager and a year of finding people. ELC brings 3,300+ members and has launched its own rooms from zero in Brno, Bratislava and Kraków: 3 meetups held in Bratislava,1 in Kraków so far, 40+ across the community.

Three rungs, one job

Every item is priced on its own, the same figures the configurator shows. Each rung contains the one before it.

Build Launch + Run

Each meetup inside the ladder is run the way a Signature Meetup is run: topic chosen with the community, curated speakers next to yours, the ELC audience launch, an ELC host, a recap page and a report three days after.

The year, month by month

Community Launch is the first four months. Launch + Run is the whole line. Every meetup on it is a Signature Meetup, run by the same runner ELC uses for its own nights.

  1. Launch phase

    Weeks 1 to 3

    1. Launch Audit

In person over your city, your speaker list and your calendar: the five readiness dimensions, an audience map, a first topic shortlist and the 90-day plan. The first date goes on the calendar at the end of week three.

    Launch Audit
  2. Launch phase

    Month 2

    2. Signature Meetup 1

Two months of lead time from the audit: topic voted with the community, your engineer plus up to two curated ELC speakers, the members-first audience launch, ELC members seeded in. An ELC host runs the night; the D+3 report follows.

    What a Signature Meetup is
  3. Launch phase

    Month 3

    3. Signature Meetup 2

Four to six weeks after the first. The people who came back are already in your community channel, which ELC set up after night one.

    Same runner, same items
  4. Launch phase

    Month 4

    4. Signature Meetup 3, then the hand-over

The third night, then the playbook: the Meetup OS adapted to your city, venue and people, written so your team runs meetup four without ELC. The off-ramp sits here: stop, pay the Community Launch price, keep the community.

    The Meetup OS
  5. Run phase

    Months 5 to 12

    5. Signature Meetups 4, 5 and 6, plus quarterly reports

Launch + Run only. Three more nights spaced across the rest of the year, run the same way, and a report every quarter: registrations, check-ins, titles and companies, who came back, what to change. Category exclusivity in your city runs for the whole contract.

What we do not promise

Hires or follower counts

The rooms fill with senior engineering leaders from your city. Who you hire, and how many people follow your page afterwards, is not something ELC can promise.

A head count

Registrations are what we measure and promise. In Prague the line is 100+ per meetup. In a brand-new city the first meetup is smaller, so the line there is 80+ registrations.

An employer-brand agency

No job ads, no career site, no recruiting. ELC launches the community and hands it over; your brand work stays yours.

Contact data

Reports carry titles and companies of who came, and who came back. No email export.

How ELC runs its own meetups, D-30 to D+90, is public: the Meetup OS. The playbook you get at hand-over is that, adapted to your city.

Questions about the Community Launch

What does the Launch Audit look at?

The same five dimensions as the free readiness check: speaker network, a venue partner, a promotion channel, a first topic, and someone on your side who owns the calendar. Done in person over your real lists rather than five checkboxes. The output is an audience map for your city, a first topic shortlist and a 90-day plan.

How long does a Community Launch take?

About four months: the audit in month one, three meetups four to six weeks apart after that, the hand-over at the end. Each meetup gets a two-month lead time for the topic, the speakers and the audience launch, so the first date is roughly eight weeks after the call.

What happens after meetup three?

Your team gets the playbook, adapted to your city, your venue and your people, and runs meetup four on its own. If you would rather keep ELC on it, Launch + Run adds three more meetups across the rest of the year and a quarterly report, with category exclusivity in your city included.

Do you guarantee attendance?

We promise registrations, not a head count, and we report check-ins after every meetup. Over the last year the median public ELC meetup had 120 confirmed registrations, measured in Luma. A first meetup in a brand-new city runs smaller, which is why the promise there is 80+ registrations rather than 100+.

Can we stop after the launch phase?

Yes. Launch + Run has an off-ramp at month four: pay the Community Launch price and stop. The Launch Audit is credited in full against Community Launch within 90 days, and every rung is credited against a company membership signed within the same window.

How is this different from the Talent reach package?

Talent reach puts your company inside the existing ELC community for a year: a meetup at your office, Marian's List, the job board. Community Launch builds a community under your own name in a city, with ELC seeding its members into it, and hands you the machine. Companies opening a hub take this one; companies hiring into Prague usually take Talent reach.

Start with the audit. Stop whenever it stops making sense.

Open the rung that fits in the configurator and send it. The itemised offer lands in your inbox; the city and the first date get settled on a call.
