Engineering leadership meetups in Prague.
An ELC meetup in Prague is a free evening for engineering managers, directors and CTOs, with talks first and a long networking block after. Prague is the home room. ELC runs 12 meetups a year and most of them are here, one evening a month, at a partner company office.
Every Prague meetup in the archive is listed below with the date, the talk and, since September 2025, two numbers from Luma: the seats that were confirmed and the people who scanned in at the door. The two are not the same thing and this page never swaps them.

Meetups held in Prague
28 in the archive. "Approved" is a confirmed seat on Luma. "Checked in" is a QR scan at the door, a floor because walk-ins are not scanned. Registrations are never reported as attendance.
Door data exists from September 2025, when registration moved to Luma; "no record" means nothing survives for that edition. Source: ELC's Luma check-in audit, September 2026.

Host an ELC meetup in Prague
One evening at your office, your engineer on stage, ELC runs the rest: the topic, the registrations, the other speakers, the recording. EUR 4,000 at your office, EUR 6,000 at a venue ELC secures, credited in full against a company membership signed within 90 days. Details and the other one-offs: the reach page.

Speaker slots work two ways. Members apply for free through the call for speakers and the program team picks the talks. Partners can also buy a slot. Either way ELC helps the speaker with the topic and with public-speaking coaching, and no talk is a sales pitch.

Frequently asked questions
How often does ELC meet in Prague?
About once a month. Of the 12 meetups ELC runs a year, most are in Prague; Brno, Bratislava and Kraków take the rest. Dates go up on Luma first and land on the events page the same week.
How many people come to an ELC meetup in Prague?
Measured, not estimated: between September 2025 and September 2026 the public Prague meetups confirmed 95 to 191 seats each, and the evenings with reliable scanning checked 57 to 106 people in at the door. The door count is a floor, because walk-ins are not scanned. The full table is on this page.
Can our company host an ELC meetup in Prague?
Yes. A hosted meetup is one evening at your office with your engineer on stage, run by ELC end to end; the price is on the one-off reach page and is credited in full against a company membership signed within 90 days. Partners can buy a speaker slot; ELC helps with the topic and with public-speaking coaching.
Which Prague companies have hosted?
Apify, Ataccama, Microsoft, Make, Everpure, Productboard, Pure Storage and Emplifi among others. The venue of each meetup is on its event page.
Is an ELC meetup free to attend?
Yes, for every engineering leader. Registration runs through Luma; seats are limited by the room, so a Prague meetup often has a waitlist.
What happens in the networking part of a Prague meetup?
Talks run up to 75 minutes and the networking after them at least as long. The ELC team runs icebreaker games such as human bingo or speed networking, so people from different companies talk to each other instead of standing with their colleagues. The games and the free card generators are on the networking games page.
